Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about Good News Goods? We’re just getting started so we appreciate your patience! Thank you for supporting NNM. Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most.
-
As Nameless No More grows more, we’ll have a great capacity to fulfill orders throughout the year. For now, we rely on pre-orders that can be fulfilled a few times a year. Thank you for your support and patience!
-
For some products, yes! When we know another shipment or production run is coming, we may offer pre-orders. Because many of our goods are handmade and produced in small quantities, we can't guarantee that every sold-out item will become available again.
-
Items currently available in the United States can be purchased directly through our online shop. Simply choose your item, add it to your cart, and follow the checkout instructions. The product listing will tell you whether your item can be shipped or requires local pickup.
-
All proceeds from Good News Goods benefit Nameless No More and its mission. Like any product, there are costs associated with creating, purchasing, transporting, and selling our goods. After those necessary costs are covered, the proceeds remain with Nameless No More to support our charitable work and help create opportunities for the people and communities we serve.
-
Some Good News Goods may be available for shipping, while others—particularly larger or one-of-a-kind pieces—may be available for local pickup only. Shipping and pickup options will be clearly identified on each product page before you purchase. As we grow, we hope to make more products available for shipping throughout the United States.
-
Many Good News Goods are handmade, created in small batches, or brought to the United States from Kenya, so restock times may vary. Some pieces may even be one of a kind. When possible, we'll share expected restock information on the individual product page.
-
We aren't trying to mass-produce Good News Goods. Many items are handmade, sourced in small quantities, or created by individual makers. Limited availability allows us to grow responsibly while keeping the people, craftsmanship, and purpose behind each product at the center of what we do.
-
Yes. When local pickup is available, you'll see that option on the product page or during checkout. Local pickup helps us offer certain products—especially larger or more fragile items—that would be difficult or expensive to ship.
-
Good News Goods are connected to the people and communities at the heart of Nameless No More. Some products are handmade by talented makers in Kenya whose skills can become pathways toward meaningful work, greater independence, and sustainable livelihoods. We invite you to Meet the Makers and learn the stories behind the goods.
