What We Believe

Core Beliefs

Nameless No More isn't simply about giving something to someone. It's about walking with them and helping carry what they're carrying.

Nameless No More is a Christ-centered ministry. Our beliefs shape how we serve, form partnerships and pursue restoration and hope.

THE BIBLE

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for followers of Jesus.

Isaiah 40:8; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16-17

THE TRINITY

There is one God who eternally, distinctly, and equally exists as The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

GOD

God the Father is Creator and sovereign Lord over all. He is holy, loving, just, merciful, and faithful, and He lovingly cares for His children.

Psalm 103:13; Matthew 6:9; Ephesians 1:3-6; Hebrews 12:9

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived without sin, died as an atoning sacrifice for our sin, rose from the grave, ascended to heaven, and will return.

Luke 1:35; John 1:1, 14; Romans 3:24-26; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 1:3

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit gives new life to those who trust in Christ, dwells within believers, equips them with spiritual gifts, and guides, teaches, assures, and empowers them to follow Jesus.

John 14:26; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:14-16, 26-27; 1 Corinthians 12:7-13; Ephesians 1:13-14

HUMANITY

Humans are created in the image of God and possesses inherent dignity and value, and we were created for relationship with God and one another. Because sin caused brokenness and separation from God, every person is in need of the grace and salvation God offers through Jesus Christ.

Genesis 1:27; Genesis 3:1-19; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; James 3:9

SALVATION

Salvation is a gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not earned through good works or religious ceremony. Those who belong to Christ receive forgiveness, new life, reconciliation with God, and the hope of eternal life. John 1:12; John 3:16; Romans 8:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:4-7

THE CHURCH

The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all who belong to Him, with Christ as its Head. The local church is central to Christian worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, and mission.

Matthew 16:18; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 4:11-16; Colossians 1:18

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Followers of Jesus are sent into the world to make Christ known and to share the Gospel faithfully while demonstrating the love of Christ through compassionate service, relationship, and care.

Matthew 28:18-20; John 20:21; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:14-15; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

SERVING AND RESTORATION

Christian service should reflect the dignity God has given every person. Meeting immediate needs matters, but we also seek to walk alongside people toward restoration through relationship, discipleship, reconciliation, and when possible, education, mentoring, meaningful work, community, and opportunity. We desire to strengthen people and local communities rather than create dependency.

Isaiah 58:6-12; Matthew 25:35-40; Galatians 6:2; 1 John 3:18

ETERNITY

We believe in bodily resurrection, eternal life and that Jesus Christ will return and every person will ultimately stand before God.

Matthew 25:31-46; John 11:25-26; 1 Corinthians 15:42-58; 2 Corinthians 5:10
